We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Application and Field Engineer to join our distribution team for Arkite. Arkite is an innovative company in the industrial technology sector, focused on augmented reality solutions to improve efficiency and safety in manual processes.

Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for application analysis and definition, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced technological systems on-site, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and define applications, install, configure, and maintain advanced equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure efficient system operation.
- Quickly troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify and implement improvements.
- Provide training to customers on system usage and best practices.
- Document all activities, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, to maintain accurate records.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technological innovations.
Requirements
- Strong results orientation, customer satisfaction focus, and aptitude for technical-commercial activities (presentations, demos, customer visits).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn new skills, both semi-guided and independently.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (mainly in Italy) as required.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation systems such as PLCs, HMIs, etc.
- Basic networking skills, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with electrical schematics, functional diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Ability to perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex hardware and software systems in industrial environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience in PLC programming.
- Familiarity with industrial vision systems, sensors, and IoT devices for quality control and automation applications.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, and OPC-UA for machine and system integration.
- Experience with SQL databases, including query writing, data management, and integration with industrial systems.
- Knowledge of JSON and XML formats for system configuration and data exchange.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for automation, testing, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with augmented reality systems or digital assistance tools for supporting shop floor operators.
- Hands-on workshop experience such as mechanical/electrical assembly and fitting.
